[Description]

A digital experience designed for Marie Sharp’s, built around the brand’s most iconic asset: heat.

Inspired by the Scoville scale, the website transforms spice intensity into a visual navigation language - using heat levels, bold color transitions, and product categorization to create a shopping experience that feels playful, intuitive, and unmistakably on-brand. Marie Sharp’s is globally known for its Belizean habanero sauces, with flavor and heat as core brand differentiators

[SCOPE]

Web Design / UX/UI Design / Creative Direction / Digital Experience

[The Challenge]

Hot sauce shopping is inherently experiential.

People don’t just buy flavor - they buy intensity, challenge, curiosity, and personal tolerance.

The challenge was to design a digital experience that makes product discovery feel intuitive while translating something inherently sensory - HEAT - into a clear and engaging interface language.

[The Concept]

The design system was built around the logic of the Scoville scale.

Color transitions inspired by heat intensity, stronger visual hierarchy, and product segmentation helped transform spice levels into an intuitive browsing mechanism.

Rather than presenting products through conventional e-commerce categorization alone, the experience used heat as both a storytelling device and a UX framework. The result feels playful, immersive, and immediately understandable.

[Outcome]

A branded digital shopping experience that transforms product intensity into a navigational tool.

A website designed to make browsing feel intuitive, memorable, and deeply aligned with the emotional DNA of the product.

[The Idea]

Rather than treating product browsing like standard e-commerce, the experience was built around sensation.

Heat became the organizing principle - turning spice levels into a visual system that guides users through the brand in a way that feels both functional and emotionally engaging.

What we did

[Description]

Built a graphic language rooted in resistance – brutalist, stripped-down, and ready to disrupt. Every asset was designed to provoke.

[AI-Generated Visuals]

We created a library of surreal, aggressive, and conceptual imagery using custom AI prompts – abstract human forms, anti-capitalist symbols, and fashion gone rogue.

[Social Media Content]

Designed bold, fast-scrolling posts, stories, and reels – each one built to stop the thumb and punch a message through the noise.

[Digital Packaging]

Visual assets for campaigns, drops, and story takeovers – everything branded with edge and zero compromise.
Not a barcode in sight.
